The department offers under graduate course B.Sc. Hotel Management. Students are trained to prepare Cuisines of Regional and National level and also famous Breads of Europe, Cookies, and Pasta etc… The department has good infrastructure facilities in its all sections of Basic training kitchen, Modern Working tables with Ranges, Electric Oven, Salamander, Juicer, Coffee maker and Micro wave Oven, Table top Wet Grinder, Blender, Electric Deep Fryer, Pasta machine and separate Butchery cabin. To enhance the communication skill of the students, the department arranges some activities at the admirable Front office lab. Value of cleanliness is taught in maintaining Guest Rooms with House keeping Trolley, Washing machine, Detachable Bath room with WC, Double bed with television. Bakery and Confectionery with marble working Tables, Imported German Oven and Dough Mixer are also utilized for the production of Bakery Product. Modern Training Restaurant with Bar and Pantry Equipments such as Bainmaire, Spoon sterilizers, Guerdon trolley, Plate warmer is available to teach the different types of service to the students. Every year, the department arranges " Industrial Exposure training " programme for our students during winter and summer for 45 days to various leading group of Hotels in the State of Karnataka, Kerala, Anthrapradesh, Maharashtra(Mumbai) Rajasthan (Jaipur) and New Delhi etc., is given to all the first and second year students of the Hotel Management and Catering Science. For the final year students, we arrange campus interview for their placement. Experts are invited from various universities and colleges and Star Hotels to enrich the knowledge of the students in the subject both in Theoretical and Practical. There is a plan to start P.G Diploma in Hotel Mgt. and Catering Science in near future.
